Ghana would be playing West African rivals, Nigeria in next month’s international friendly at the Griffin Park in Brentford, London.
The February 6 fixture would be Ghana’s first match of the year as Black Stars coach, Claude Le Roy continues with preparations ahead of the 2008 African Cup of Nations.
Ghana undefeated in four international matches since her round of 16 exit at last year’s World Cup would be making a second appearance in Brentford after playing Senegal at the same venue last year.
And Brentford FC’s Griffin Park is expected to attract a packed crowd as both nations rekindle their rivalry in the friendly tie.
The Black Stars and the Super Eagles clash was scheduled to take at Loftus Road on 7 February.
But a clash of dates with an England fixture meant the game will now take place a day earlier.
The Black Stars would be hoping to maintain their impressive run against Nigeria, ranked as Africa’s best side.
Ghana would be using the game in preparation towards the hosting of the 2008 African Nations Cup.
A previous friendly between both nations was cancelled in August at the last minute by the Nigerians after coach Augustine Eguavoen said the timing was poor for his team.
The last clash between the sides was at the 2006 Nations Cup in Egypt, with the Super Eagles winning 1-0.
