Ghana defender, John Mensah over the weekend honoured put some smile on the faces of the needy in society when he made a cash donation to an orphanage.
The Black Stars player gave back to the less privileged in society when a cash donation was made on his behalf to assist the needy.
A 40 million cedi ($4,347) was handed over to the Village of Hope Orphanage in Gomoa in the Central region of the country over the weekend.
The RC Rennes defender who was not present at the ceremony was represented by the wife.
According to the wife of the national defender, the donation was part of the husband’s social responsibilities.
