Ghana national under-17 team would arrive in the country Tuesday evening after a week’s training tour of Egypt.
The Black Starlets completed their preparations for the final leg qualifying series for the African Under-17 Championship over the weekend.
The team played four test games during their stay, winning two matches and losing the other two.
Three of the games was against Egyptian sides while the Black Starlets took on the Jordanian under-23 side in another game.
Ghana play the Ivory Coast in Abidjan this weekend in the first leg tie.
The Black Starlets on their arrival would move to the national camp, the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram before travelling to Ivory Coast on Friday.
Winner of the two-leg tie qualifies for next year’s African Under-17 Youth Championship to be hosted by Togo.
The tour afforded Bashiru Hayford and the rest of his backroom staff the opportunity to assess the players before the final eliminator.
Ghana edged out Guinea on a 4-2 goal aggregate to book a date with the Ivorians in the final qualifier.
