National under-17 coach, Bashiru Hayford and Black Starlets team would begin their training tour of Egypt on Friday.

The national under-17 side arrived in Egypt in the early hours of Friday having left Accra Thursday evening for the two-week tour.

Ghana’s under-17 side would be based in city of Ishmalia for their preparations.

The team would play a series of games with Egyptian sides as part of their preparations for their final eliminator against Ivory Coast later this month.

For the national under-17 team, the Black Starlets their tour is to afford Bashiru Hayford and the rest of the technical team the opportunity to assess the players before the game against Ghana’s neighbours.
