Two national sides, the male Olympic team and the under-17 squad would set up camp in Egypt ahead of their qualifying campaign with the national sides of the Ivory Coast.
The Olympic team, the Black Meteors would be leaving Accra on Thursday to continue with preparations for the first leg tie against the Ivorians next month in the second round of qualifiers for the All-African Games.
The trip to Egypt is at the invitation of the host nation, who are partly funding Ghana's travels.
Ghana would play Egypt’s Olympic team in two test games on November 14 and 15.
After the matches with the Egyptian Olympic team, the Black Meteors would continue with preparations when they play two other practice games against club sides on November 17 and 18.
The Egyptian Olympic side who have drawn a bye in Zone V would be using the matches against Ghana to prepare for the last round of qualifiers where they await the winner of the Tanzania-Kenya tie.
Ghana are paired in Zone III together with the Ivory Coast while Nigeria drew a bye.
The winner of the Ghana-Ivory Coast game would meet Nigeria in the final eliminator for the single Zone III slot for the 9th All African Games to be hosted by Algeria next year.
The Black Meteors would play at home first on the weekend of December 15-17 with the return leg slated for Abidjan next year on the weekend of January 12-14.
For the national under-17 team, the Black Starlets their tour is to afford Bashiru Hayford and the rest of the technical team the opportunity to assess the players before the final eliminator against Ivory Coast later this month.
The Black Starlets would also be playing some test games during the tour of Egypt.
Players of the national under-17 side bounced back to the pitches at the national camp at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram last weekend to begin preparations against the Ivorians.
Ghana would be playing the Ivorians over a two-leg tie with the first leg on the weekend of 24, 25 or 26 November.
The return leg comes off in Abidjan on 8,9 or 10 December with the winner booking a place for next year’s African Youth Under-17 championship to be hosted by Togo.
