Bashiru Hayford and his Black Starlets squad have returned to camp ahead of the team’s final eliminator against the Ivory Coast next month.
Twenty-eight players bounced back to the pitches at the national camp at the Ghanaman Centre of Excellence in Prampram over the weekend.
Ahead of the final eliminator against the Ivorians, the Black Starlets would be playing some warm up games.
And head coach, Bashiru Hayford says he would be approaching the Ivory Coast game cautiously after taking a cue from the elimination of Ghana’s under-20 team, the Black Satellites from the African Youth Championship.
The Black Satellites lost the final eliminator at home to the Burkina Faso.
But the Black Starlets would be playing the Ivorians in the last weekend on November over a two-leg tie with the winner booking a place for next year’s African Youth Under-17 championship to be hosted by Togo.
