Ghana coach, Bashiru Hayford has left Accra with his 18-man squad for the Black Starlets’ game against Guinea in Conakry on Saturday.
The national under-17 side play the Guineans in the second leg of the African Youth Under-17 championship slated for Togo.
Ghana won the first leg in 3-1 at home over the Junior Sylli Nationale.
The Black Starlets departed Accra Thursday morning at 07:30 hours for Conakry.
Ahead of the team’s departure, Black Starlets coach, Bashiru Hayford was confident of Ghana’s chances in the second leg.
Hayford says the pressure would be on the home side this time.
“They (Guineans) would have to deal with the pressure from their supporters. They would have to appease their fans and this would force them to make mistakes.
"My players would live up to expectation by beating the Guineans.
"They will pose no threats to our goal of qualifying for the championship in Togo.
"We are sure of winning against them," Hayford said.
