Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh says the Black Satellites are keen to gain a result against Uruguay which would be crucial to determining their opponents in the round of 16.

Both sides though already qualified for the next round play on Friday evening as they go head to head with a place at the top of Group D at stake.

The winner would finish top the group and remain in Ismailia to possibly play a third placed team from Group B, E or F next week, October 6.

However, the runner-up from the group must travel to Port Said to face the winners of Group E, which Brazil currently lead.

For Sellas Tetteh, the opportunity to remain in Ismailia, where he says they have enjoyed themselves so far remain paramount than the thought of playing Brazil in the last 16.

"This hotel is very serene," Sellas said. "It's good for my boys. They're enjoying it. The people are very helpful and friendly. Of course, Brazil is a factor in my thinking. I wouldn't be honest if I said otherwise, but the main concern is moving."

But to ensure that his team stays in Ismailia, Ghana would need to at least draw or possibly win the tie against the Uruguayans.

And though he admits that the South American side is good, he says that the advantage is with Ghana.

"Uruguay are a great technical and tactical side," the Ghana coach said.

"They can move the ball extremely well, they're strong defensively, they have good midfield players who are capable of creating chances and they have strikers who are capable of taking those chances. But we have the advantage. We only have to draw the game to finish top of the group, even though we want to win. The pressure is on Uruguay."

The other group game would see England play Uzbekistan.
