Ghana coach Sellas Tetteh says Andre Ayew's ability to come up with "something special" can only be good for the team.
The 19-year-old captain led Ghana to pull a win at the World Youth Championship against Uzbekistan as the Black Satellites rallied back from a goal down to claim a 2-1 victory.
Andre's key role in the team excites the Ghana coach who says the youngster is "inspirational".
"He is my leader and commander on the pitch. He has a lot of experience and has the ability to conjure up something special when you need it most.
"He's inspirational. He pushes the team forward and, against Uzbekistan, we saw just that," Sellas Tetteh said of captain following Saturday's win over the Asian runners-up.
Andre would lead Ghana for Tuesday's game against England as Ghana pushes for a second straight win at the Championship.
