Ghana would on Sunday attempt to scale past Burkina Faso and join six other teams to participate at the African Youth Championships next year to be hosted by Congo.
The national under-20 team, the Black Satellites trail the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso 1-0 from the first leg and welcome their opponents to the Sunyani Coronation for the second leg qualifier.
Ghana, 1999 African champions are optimistic of overturning the deficit and book a place for next year’s tournament.
Team coach, Francis Oti Akenteng admits the game with their neighbours will be tough but believes that his side will prevail.
"I think we are better than them because of the way we played in Ouagadougou," Akenten explains.
"We scored a goal which was disallowed and we played the game under poor weather condition."
The Ghana team, dominated by local talent has Bradley Hudson-Odoi of Fulham FC joining the rest of the squad for the final eliminator on Sunday.
Bradley Hudson-Odoi, son of former Accra Hearts of Oak player, Bismark Odoi could receive his first Ghana cap on Sunday when he lines up for the national under-20 team.
The young attacker is delighted to receive his first national team invitation.
"Everybody at Fulham are excited," Odoi said.
"I am relishing the opportunity because I am representing not only my country but also my club."
Defending champions Nigeria suffered a minor set-back as their England-based striker Victor Anichebe pulled out the their match against Rwanda.
The Everton player, who missed the first leg because of a passport problem, says he did not receive an invitation for Sunday's game.
However, the Flying Eagles have a comfortable 5-0 cushion going into the match in Kigali.
South Africa need a draw away to Zambia to qualify for the tournament having won the first-leg 2-1.
But the home side have been boosted by the return of Fwayo Tembo and Rogers Kola, who were on trials in Norway when the first leg was played.
Egypt are also tipped to progress after winning the first leg in Burundi 1-0 while Gambia could qualify to the tournament for the first time if they hold visiting Mali to a goalless draw.
Tunisia and Ivory Coast had a similar scoreline two weeks ago and in Abidjan on Sunday, the Ivorians have the advantage.
Malawi face an uphill task at home as they have to overturn a 2-0 deficit against Cameroon.
The winners of the seven ties will join the host country for the tournament from 20 January to 4 February.
