The national under-20 team, the Black Satellites on Tuesday rounded up their practice game for Sunday’s second leg game of the African Youth Championship qualifiers against the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso.
The Black Satellites beat division one side, Aduana Stars 2-0 in a test game at the Sunyani Coronation Park, the match venue for Sunday’s game.
Mark Adu-Amofa and Kofi Nti Boakye scored both goals for the national side as they wrapped up their preparations.
Ghana stumbled away in Ouagadougou in the first leg of the final eliminator losing 0-1 to the Young Stallions of Burkina Faso.
Black Satellites assistant coach, Sulley Mohammed after Tuesday’s game expressed satisfaction with the team’s build up for the match against the Burkinabes.
“The match used to try our tactics for Sunday.
“And the players did well. It’s a collective effort from all and an improvement of all departments of the game,” Sulley said.
The winner over both legs secures qualification for the 2007 African Youth Championship to be hosted by Congo.
