Ghana's senior women's team are in Senegal for the weekend's first round of qualifying to the 2010 CAF Women Championship.

The Black Queens will meet the Senegalese in the first leg clash as fourteen sides battle for places at the Championship to be hosted by South Africa later this year.

After skipping the preliminary round of qualifiers, Ghana had to await the winner of the game between Senegal and Morocco.

Algerian referee Moula Slidja will handle the game to be assisted by Belaribi Djamila and Belkadi Khadidja.

The return game will come off between June 6, 2010 with the winner over two legs qualifying for the finals.

Ghana are chasing a 7th appearance at the women's championship.

Seven teams will emerge from the qualifiers to join the hosts, South Africa in the finals.
