Members of the Black Queens squad would receive a cash boost even before kicking the ball on Sunday in the Beijing Olympic Games qualifying match against South Africa.
The Black Queens would play the Bayana Bayana in the reverse game of the qualifiers on Sunday at the Ohene Djan stadium in Accra.
At a meeting between members of the Ghana Football Association led by its President Kwesi Nyantakyi, general secretary Kofi Nsiah, Fred Crenstil and Awuah Nyamekye, both Executive Committee members together with deputy sports minister, O.B. Amoah on Thursday, the team were promised all unpaid bonuses before kickoff.
The delegation during the interaction at the national camp in Prampram, where the Black Queens are camping ahead of Sunday’s game also charged the team to demonstrate a great scene of discipline.
The Black Queens remain in contention of picking a place at the Beijing Olympic Games to mark their debut in the maiden women’s football event at the Games.
Ghana top the group after recording two victories with wins against Nigeria’s Falcons at home and the Bayana Bayana away.
A win on Sunday for the Black Queens would see Ghana maintain a hundred percent record with nine points before the last game away to Nigeria.
