The Black Queens together with defending champions, Nigeria, Cameroun, South Africa, DR Congo and Mali would skip the preliminary round of qualifiers involving 16 other nations spread on the continent after sport body, the Confederation of African Football – CAF, released the fixtures for the competition.
The winner of the two-leg tie in December between Senegal and Ivory Coast would play Ghana at the first round stage in February with the Black Queens going away for the first leg tie.
