Ghana prodigy, Anita Amankwah is in contention for the goal king award at the 5th African Women’s Championship.

Anita Amankwah continued with her impressive form in the tournament hitting her second successive brace for Ghana to send her goal tally to four.

The 17 year-old attacker is a goal shy of Nigeria’s Uwak Cynthia, who has five goals to her credit.

Anita Amankwah, entered the goal chart after scoring twice for the Black Queens in Ghana’s 2-1 win over Cameroon on Wednesday.

She sustained that feat in Ghana’s final group game against DR Congo on Saturday when she hit another brace.
