Ghana has secured qualification for the last four of the African Women’s Championship after beating Cameroon 2-1 in Uhgelli on Wednesday.
Anita Amankwah was the queen on the day as she grabbed a brace for Ghana.
The young attacker put Ghana in the lead in the first half when she finished off a fine solo run with a lob over the Cameroon goalkeeper Lili Ndoungwo in the 28th minute.
But Indomitable Lionesses drew level eight minutes after half-time as Bella Francoise profited from a defensive mix-up to slot pass Ghana's Enti Gladys.
Then in the second half, Amankwa eventually won the game for the Black Queens with a goal in the final moments of the match from a rebound.
The victory was sweet revenge for Ghana, who were beaten by Cameroon in the 2004 African Women's Championship semi-finals.
Ghana coach Isaac Paha revealed Wednesday's victory didn't come as a surprise.
"I knew we were going to improve today, we made errors in the first game against Mali, but we have corrected all that today," Paha said.
"I came here for the ultimate [the trophy] and I believe we are still on track."
The win keeps Ghana on top of the four-nation table in Group B with a hundred percent record in the competition after two wins with six points.
In the day's other Group B match Mali came from behind to edge out DR Congo 3-2.
Ghana thus joins host, Nigeria and South Africa for the semi finals stage after two matches.
In the other Group B game, DR Congo beat Mali 3-2 to take the second position on four points.
Ghana plays DR Congo in the last group game while Cameroon clash with Mali on Saturday.
Saturday's games see Ghana play the DR Congo and Cameroon taking on Mali.
Earlier on Tuesday, Nigeria and South Africa both secured places in the semi finals after winning their second Group A matches.
The Super Falcons flayed Algeria 6-0 while the Bayana Bayana battered Equatorial Guinea 2-0.
Both Nigeria and South Africa clash in the next group game while Algeria and Equatorial Guinea play in their last match of the competition before exiting.
