With an encouraging debut game out of the way, Ghana's Black Princesses are hoping to improve on their performance when they take on Korea Republic on Saturday in the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup tournament.
Ghana drew 1-1 with holders, United States in the opening group fixture in Dresden on Wednesday.
Ahead of the crucial second game against the Koreans who kicked off their campaign with a 4-0 victory against the Switzerland, Ghana's Florence Dadson is already talking up the chances of the Princesses who are making their tournament debut.
“We are here to bring the trophy home to Ghana. If we can get to the quarter-finals we can win the cup,” says the Black Princesses' striker.
Dadson believes Ghana would learn from the experiences of their debut game after allowing an early lead against the US to slip with 20 minutes remaining.
"Before the game all the talk was about USA, the defending champions, and how they were going to beat us," Dadson said.
"We were very happy to score the first goal and we fought hard to score more goals. They equalised but it was still a great experience for us."
The game against the Korea Republic promises plenty of excitement as both pride themselves on an attractive, attacking brand of football. But the result will probably enhance either side’s chances of reaching the last eight.
