The national female U-20 side, the Black Princesses are continuing with preparations in Germany ahead of the start of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup on July 13.

Ghana is paired in Group D together the United States, Switzerland and Korea Republic as the Black Princesses make their debut competition.

Coach of the team Kuuku Dadzie says he prefers to stick to the underdogs tag but with a steely determination as he continues with his build up in Hannover since arriving late on Monday.

“Our group is a tough introduction especially when you consider the Americans are champions and the Koreans have done so well in women’s football lately,” says Kuuku Dadzie.

Despite an opening group fixture against the defending champions, US on July 14, Ghana's coach says it is an opportunity to pit their strengths against such good sides.

“I believe we can have the better of our opponents with the right kind of preparation,” the coach adds.
