Ghana’s Black Princesses are taking a five-day rest before getting ready for the final Group B game against Senegal.
The Black Princesses after posting a 2-1 win over host nation, Algeria on Monday return to the pitch for their last group game on Sunday at the Bologhine against the Senegalese.
But before Sunday’s game, Senegal, who like Ghana are making their tournament debut play their first group match on Thursday in the three-team group against Algeria.
The winner of Group A would play the second placed nation from Group B in the semi-finals beginning July 18 for a place in the finals on July 22 with the third place game coming off a day before the finale.
However, unlike their female folks, Ghana’s male team, the Black Meteors return for their second group match on Friday against South Africa in Group A.
The Black Meteors played their first match of the men’s competition on Tuesday against defending champions, Cameroon but lost 1-0.
