The Olympic side on Wednesday beat Liberty Professionals 2-0 in a test game as part of their preparations for the All-African Games qualifiers.
Wednesday’s reverse fixture was the seventh preparatory game for the Black Meteors as they gear up for next month’s Zone III qualifier against Ivory Coast.
The game was the second between both sides. Liberty Professionals beat the Olympic side 3-0 in their first match.
But the Black Meteors reversed the outcome of the game at the Carl Reindorff park as substitute attacker, Michael Helegbe stunned his own side when he grabbed a brace for the national side.
National coach, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio and his technical staff have been preparing the team at the national camp in Prampram as Ghana seeks to qualify for the 9th All-African Games to be hosted by Algeria.
The winner of the Ghana-Ivory Coast two-leg tie would play Nigeria in the final eliminator for the single Zone III ticket. Nigeria drew a bye.
