Ghana’s male Olympic team were reduced to ten men but still drew goalless with Accra Hearts of Oak in their last practice game on Thursday.
The Black Meteors in their first encounter with the Phobians won 2-0 last week at the Tema Park and both sides clashed again at the same venue for the Olympic team’s last local test game.
Michael Akuffo was shown the red card but the Olympic team still managed to hold Hearts of Oak.
The Olympic team are arranging to set up camp in France where the team would be expected to use the training facilities of French division two side, SC Bastia.
The training programme forms part of Ghana’s build up ahead of their qualifying campaign with the Olympic team of the Ivory Coast for the for the 9th All African Games.
Ghana are paired in Zone III together with the Ivory Coast while Nigeria drew a bye.
The winner of the Ghana-Ivory Coast game would meet Nigeria in the final eliminator for the single Zone III slot for the 9th All African Games to be hosted by Algeria next year.
