Back from a hectic premiership weekend, Cecil Jones Attuquayefio continues to run the rule over some 38 players called up into the male Olympic team beginning Tuesday.
The male Olympic team would this week play two premiership sides in a spate of two day as the Black Meteors fine tune their preparations for their African Zone III qualifier.
Ghana has been paired against the Olympic team of the Ivory Coast in the second round of qualifiers for the All-African Games in December.
The Black Meteors would first play Accra Great Olympics on Wednesday at the Tema Park and take on Tema Youth the following day, Thursday at the same venue.
Cecil Jones Attuquayefio has adjusted the training programme for the Black Meteors following the change in dates for the second round of qualifiers for the All-African Games.
The earlier arrangement had the match dates fixed for January 2007.
Ghana are grouped in Zone III together with Ivory Coast and Nigeria for the single slot for the 9th All Africa Games, Men’s Football tournament to be hosted by Algeria.
The Black Meteors last week Thursday completed their two-game series drawing with Bofoakwa Tano 3-3 at the Sunyani Coronation Park.
The Black Meteors a day before drew 1-1 with Kumasi Asante Kotoko at the same match venue.
The two test matches formed part of the team's six-game friendly build up towards the All-African Games qualifiers.
The winner of the Ghana-Ivory Coast tie would meet Nigeria.
Nigeria drew a bye and would meet the winner over the two-leg tie in the third round, which is the last qualifying hurdle in February 2007.
The Black Meteors would play at home first on the weekend of December 15-17 with the return leg slated for Abidjan next year on the weekend of January 12-14.
