Black Stars to begin training in Paris on Wednesday ahead of friendlies

Black Stars coach Avram Grant and his team will begin training in Paris on Wednesday evening ahead of their international friendlies against Senegal and Mali on March 28th and 31st respectively.

Ghana will take on take Senegal at the Stade Oceane in Le Havre on Saturday evening before their match against the Eagles of Mali at Stade Sébastien Charléty three days later.

The Black Stars last played Senegal in the 2015 African Cup of Nations Group C match which ended 2-1 in favour of the Terranga Lions.

Avram Grant’s side however went on to top the group and eventually finished the tournament as silver medalists.

The two matches are to help Ghana coach Grant to invigorate his squad ahead of the upcoming AFCON and 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

Former Ghana U-20 stars, Seidu Salifu and Ebenezer Assifuah have been included in the squad for the two friendly games.
