Despite their dominant form this season, Asante Kotoko failed to ride over archrivals, Accra Hearts of Oak in the first round. But the Porcupine Warriors could achieve that on Sunday when the two sides meet in an outstanding OneTouch Premier League fixture at the Baba Yara Stadium.

The Phobians have had a torrid season so far, accounting for their 10th position with the pressure mounting on Eyal Lachman ahead of the game.

Hearts of Oak are facing problems off the field too as senior management members and the fans clash with Eyal Lachman over his choice of players.

But the Phobians say they would present a united front to avert a poor showing against their bitterest rivals.

After a poor showing in front of home fans in last Wednesday's home game to Real Tamale United, which ended goalless, Hearts need to stay clear off their petty squabbles to beat Asante Kotoko and climb further up the league table.

Kotoko, who are six-points clear at the top with another game to spare remain very confident of holding onto their league dominance this season till the final day but a win over their rivals could set the stage for such a conquering feat.

Three points remain at stake but form guide most often does not play a part in such big games as the small details seem count.
