Substitute Bernard Arthur proved to be the game changer for Hearts of Oak as they came from a goal down to beat Liberty Professionals 2-1 at the Carl Reindorf Stadium in Dansoman.

Samuel Amofa put Liberty ahead in the opening minute of the game, but two late goals earned a 2-1 victory for the visitors.

Hearts enjoyed a lion's share of possession after going down in the first minute. Patient build up and absolute control of the game resulted in more opportunities and subsequent goals.

Substitute Bernard Arthur got the equalizer in the 85th minute against his former club before setting up Kofi Kodzi to put the Phobians ahead just a few minutes to the end of the match.

The win, which is the second of the season for the Phobians, will give them a huge boost ahead of next weekend’s clash with their arch rivals Asante Kotoko at the Accra Sports Stadium.
